TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Assistant Professor of Trombone, Lynn University, Boca Raton, FL, 2009-present.  Studio teaching, chamber music coaching, orchestral repertoire, wind pedagogy, music entrepreneurship instruction, and recruitment responsibility for tenor and bass trombone students at one of the nation’s leading music conservatories in a university setting.

Artist Faculty in Trombone, Lynn University, Boca Raton, FL, 2005-2009.  Studio teaching, chamber music coaching, music appreciation, and recruitment responsibility for tenor and bass trombone students.

Adjunct Professor of Low Brass, Palm Beach Atlantic University, 2008-present. Trombone, euphonium, and tuba studio teaching and recruitment responsibility at a private university in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Trombone and Euphonium Artist-Faculty, Brevard Music Center, 1999, 2002-present.  Teaching responsibility for trombone and euphonium students at one of the premier summer music festivals in the United States.  Teaching of daily breathing classes for wind players. Coaching of chamber ensembles as well as student band and orchestra brass sections.

Low Brass Instructor, Dreyfoos School of the Arts, West Palm Beach, Florida, 2003-2006.  Private instruction of trombone, euphonium and tuba students; coaching of student band and orchestra brass sections.

Low Brass Instructor, Youth Orchestra of Palm Beach County, 2003-2007. Private instruction and coaching of youth orchestra brass sections.

The Dallas Brass, 1994-1999, 2001.  Hundreds of master-classes and coaching sessions of high-school and college students around the country.

Professor of Trombone, Cultural Corporation of Santiago, Chile, 1986-1991. A municipal entity that funds the Santiago Philharmonic and its training programs.  Tenor and bass trombone students from Chile, Argentina and Peru.

Adjunct Music Faculty, North Texas State University, 1982-1984.   Studio teaching and grading responsibility for 10-12 undergraduate and graduate trombone students per semester.
